Organic Botanical Extracts: Our botanical extracts (white tea, plum, apple, and pomegranate) are certified organic which means that they are completely chemical free. Our extracts have been extracted using "water" versus chemical extraction. You will find these botanicals in our new "Organic Botanicals" line.
Iron Oxides: Our iron oxides are high purity pigments, that have been purified for use in cosmetics.
Organic Oryza Sativa (Rice Powder): This ingredient has been used for generations, dating back to the 16th century. Our rice powder, found in many of our loose powders, is Eco Certified Organic. Our rice powder is completely chemical free, and highly purified for use in cosmetics. Rice powder is the perfect solution for those who have experienced irritated skin from cornstarch or talc, and offers a silky smooth finish! Rice powder will not promote acne, and in fact may help soothe irritated skin!
Vitamin C (L-ascorbic Acid) - This type of Vitamin C was selected due to its stability, and low irritation level! Unlike other types of Vitamin C, this type will not break down, and is therefore a more effective antioxidant. You will find this ingredient in our "All Skin Types" line.
Boron Nitride: Boron Nitride is derived, in part, from the mineral Boron and is filtered from impurities for use in cosmetics. Boron Nitride promotes a silky smooth feel to the skin, and is a great substitute for mica, bismuth oxychloride or talc!
Kaolinite Clay: Our white cosmetic clay is the mildest of clays and is suitable for all skin types, including dry and sensitive. Kaolinite clay is rich in mineral content, and offers healing benefits (great for those with acne)!
NOTE: Rejuva Mineral products are completely nanoparticle free. Nanoparticles (in the cosmetic field) means any particulate that has at least one dimension that is < 100 nm (100 nm is one tenth of one micron). None of our mineral powders fall within this range. For example, our boron nitride powders consist of particle sizes (depending on the product) that range between 8-30 microns.
